Andres de Dienes, while best known for his glamour portraits of Hollywood legends and in particular, his photographs of Marilyn Monroe, is even better considered for his overall diverse abilities. He shot reportage such as his series on the street life of Harlem and he was a pioneer in the area of photo montage. His vision carried through to all things ... even a pear was portrayed as sensuous and with seductive wiles.
